Which Inn is Right for Your Elopement?

Some Things to Consider as You Decide...

The two Inns have similar elopement packages.  Each features a great setting, the officiant, the floral arrangements, a small cake, champagne, romantic turn-down service and an outstanding breakfast.  There are a few differences that may sway you to one or the other. 

*  Wedding Carriage Ride:  (Kehoe House)
If you and your intended wish to add a Wedding Carriage Ride to your elopement ceremony, you'll want to consider The Kehoe House first, as a carriage ride is already included in the package. After your Kehoe House ceremony, you'll tour downtown Savannah for an hour in your private horse-drawn carriage, a Savannah tradition.   (The Gastonian will also arrange a carriage ride for you after your ceremony, but it is not included in the package.) 

*  Proximity to River Street and Downtown Restaurants: (Kehoe House)
The Kehoe House is probably the best location if you wish to be located in the true "heart of the downtown district."  It's two blocks from River Street, and within walking distance to the city's best restaurants.  Shopping, art galleries, and most of the sites that make Savannah famous are easily within walking distance from The Kehoe House.   (The Gastonian is about 7 blocks from River Street and City Market)

*  Outdoor Ceremony in the Garden:  (The Gastonian)
For an outdoor ceremony, we highly recommend The Gastonian for its amazing garden and fountain. Also, if you intend to be photographed by the famous fountain in Forsyth Park, The Gastonian's location will put you within blocks of this Savannah icon.  (Kehoe House Brides and Grooms may also consider an outdoor ceremony in nearby Columbia Square, or an outdoor ceremony on the Inn's verandah.) 

* The Honeymoon Suite: (The Gastonian) 
Few places in Savannah can compare to the 850-square foot Caracalla Suite at The Gastonian.  This two-room suite is the first choice for couples celebrating an anniversary or other special occasion, as it features a king-sized canopy bed and working fireplace with in-laid hardwood floors, an over-sized whirlpool tub framed with sheer drapes centered in the second room, with another working fireplace in front of the tub and two pedestal sinks.  It's stunning, and only at The Gastonian.
