Bed & Breakfasts of Savannah appreciates comments and feedback from our guests.  We are always particularly proud of our Staff members mentioned in guest comments!  While the historic ambiance of our inns makes them unique, we know our Staff is our most important asset.  Here are some notes we received from guests.

Kehoe House

  • One of the best B&B's we've encountered.
  • Our stay was wonderful! The staff was exceptional, in particular Robin. She was very informative and interesting to talk to.  We look forward to returning for another visit. Christmas is a beautiful time at The Kehoe House, as well as Savannah. The decorations were beautiful! The other guests and staff were a highlight of our trip...we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with so many new and interesting people

The Marshall House

  •  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jordan, your bellman, was very helpful. The complimentary wine and cheese each evening was a very nice touch. Excellent room decor. Great job!!
  • Enjoyed our second stay at the Marshall House, excellent location in a truly beautiful city.
  • Just wanted to say that we had a great time. We felt very comfortable! :)
  • The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive. I will stay at the Marshall house when I return to Savanah.
  • We were very pleased with the Marshall House and everyone and everything there. The staff were very friendly. Loved the 45 Bistro and our bartender though I can't remember his name. The Marshall House was beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We will definitely recommend the Marshall House
  • Your entire staff was so helpful, kind and courteous. Consistently helpful and friendly. Your front desk staff was impeccable as well as your doormen who always greeted us with a smile and lively conversation. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We will recommend your B&B to all our friends.

Eliza Thompson House

  • We had a marvelous time while staying at the Eliza Thompson House. It was beautiful, cozy and romantic. I loved the courtyard. All of the staff was extremely pleasant and Tony went above and beyond and was most gracious. Excellent service from all. Just wish our stay could have been longer. Thank you Eliza Thompson House staff.
  • Everyone was wonderful & easy to speak with, but Kevin stands out in our minds most of all. He offered delightful conversations and suggested many non-touristy attractions to us. Our stay was very unique, peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was never a let down. We feel your establishement is above expectations and will recommend it to all. Needless to say, you'll be seeing us again too!
  • Eliza Thompson House met our expectations. Location, service and amentities all excellent. We had a GREAT time in Savannah! Thanks to all at the Eliza Thompson house for making our short business vacation a memorable experience.
  • My wife and I found the Eliza Thompson House to be everything that we hoped for in a Bed and Breakfast. This was our first visit to Savannah and we were totally impressed with this marvelous city and her wonderful people. We are both teachers and we came to Savannah to enjoy the rich Southern tradition that we had heard so much about from other travelers. We absolutely loved Jones Street and all of the squares and parks that we visited. We went on several tours throughout the city and learned so much about the history of Savannah. We will return to this great city in the Spring to finish our tour since we didn't get to see everything!

The Gastonian

  • Very satisfied. Staff was courteous, helpful, and available. Room was clean and commodious. Inn nicely located out of the way, but convenient to most Savannah restaurants and historic areas. will return.
  • After climbing the steps of this vintage Victorian inn and being greeted warmly by the concierge, I was taken by the fragrance of fresh lilies. There would be fresh flowers in my large front room and at the breakfast table. It set the mood for what would be a most delightful stay!   --- Set in one of the most desireable residential neighborhoods in the Historic District, after two short days you felt  that you were actually living there, like those privileged to call this area home. Overall, and as a single female traveler, I felt completely welcome, warm and safe.  --- Unlike some B&Bs, the service at The Gastonian was superb - anything you wanted or needed, or didn't even anticipate - you were given.  Breakfast was prepared by a smiling, "top-o'-the-morning-to-you" staff. To sit in the sunny kitchen and have such good choices as a made-to-order omelette with goat cheese and creamed spinach..well, this is the way to start a new day. ---The furnishings in the public spaces were period pieces or reproductions and quite elegant, with an ornate mirror over the fireplace in the front parlour. A mix of the same was in my guest room, along with some funky finds, yet it had a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was the size of a NY studio apartment, and outfitted with a jacuzzi tub.   ---There is some parking in the back of the dual buildings that incorporate the inn,  the facades of which are adorned with a luxuriant ivy that is meticulously clipped. The deck has a shaded area with lounge chairs, perfect for reading the book you never have time for.  --- When I was ready to drive away, the young bellman, Chris, who was an excellent employee, saw my expression upon seeing my car, which was covered with "love bugs." It was the time of year for those oversized, copulating insects. He said, "Wait, I have a plan." He returned with a leaf blower and within seconds rid my car of those annoying flies! As I waved goodbye, I thought, "This is a good place!"
  • The entire staff was welcoming and helpful. Walter settled us into our room and provided lots of practical information for getting around Savannah and enjoying the amenities of our room. He really encouraged us to call him for anything we may need. The breakfast staff worked liked a well oiled machine! There were different people working breakfast each day with the exception of the woman who served breakfast. Sorry I did not catch her name, but she was very personable. The afternoon wine reception exceeded our expectations with really delicious appetizers.
  • It was our first B&B, so we had our reservations about the stay. Everyone was extremely responsive, including Walter! His demeanor was a welcome invitation and embodied the expectations of staying in such a grand place and a historic city. We arrived in the evening around 6pm and were immediately greeted and welcomed by Walter. The concierge staff were always available and very friendly. The room was above and beyond what we have seen from images on the web. We were initially drawn in by the images but to actually be inside the superior room was overwhelming. I felt like I had been there before and have never felt more excited to get back to the Gastonian after a long day touring the city. To have such a great experience our first time out speaks volumes of the service and character of the entire staff. Overall, from the greenery lightly painting the outside decor to the smell of delectable treats in the common area to the earnest staff at our service, we will always remember our weekend at the Gastonian.
  • You made our first trip to Savannah so wonderful! The Inn was everything I thought it would be and more. We'll see you again.

Olde Harbour Inn

  • Wonderful location and spacious accomodations! We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting Savannah.
  • We had an amazing time at your hotel. Our time in Savannah was about relaxing and spending time with close friends. From the moment I checked-in the staff was graciously accommodating. We arrived early and to our surprise the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our room was ready. I also had the distinct pleasure of meeting the Colonel we arrived. He continued, throughout our stay, to make sure we were taken care of and happy with all the accommodations. His service was exceptional. He is truly an asset to your hotel. On the last day, during our lovely breakfast, the Colonel shared a beautiful storey with us which brought tears of joy to our eyes. At that moment my friends and I realized how lucky we all were to have each other and our friendship. A special thanks to the Colonel for being a part of these memories which we will all cherish. We can't wait to return! We were so happy with our suite. Plenty of room, very cozy and welcoming. We did the girls weekend package. Great value for a b&b, great location and excellent staff.
  • The stay was fantastic,we were made to feel so welcome, and would definately return.  We had a wonderful stay at Olde Harbor Inn. The suite was fabulous. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The ice cream was a fun suprise at bedtime. The location of the Inn was perfect for all the attractions. We will gladly recommend Olde Harbor Inn to anyone who may come to Savannah

East Bay Inn

  • Your staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. We throughly enjoyed our trip and will make it a tradition from here and out. Thank you so much. My boyfriend and I got engaged while staying at your Inn and it means so much to us that your staff was so friendly and involved in the making of our big event. My finace and I will never forget this vacation!
  • My wife and I had the best time visiting Savannah and the East Bay Inn hospitality was a big part of our experience. We were so thankful for the service and kindness shown by the entire staff and look forward to someday to returning. Thank you so much. P.S. Strange things happened in our room. I don't know if you care to know what happened, but, my wife and I saw exactly the same thing on our last night there. You can contact me if you want the rest of the story.
  • We stayed on an extended honeymoon. The room was outstanding and when we come back next year we are staying at the East Bay Inn and will request room 319. Elizabeth at the front desk was fantastic. The whole staff made our stay one of the best we have had in our travels. Great job!!!
  • I was completely satisfied and pleased with my stay at East Bay Inn. I really like the old wood floors, high room ceilings, and how well this old inn has been maintained. The blend of an historic property well-maintained for the less than luxury traveller, combined with value and hospitality, strikes just the right balance for me. The front desk staff was very helpful, and steered me to a wonderful local event (jazz Christmas concert at ELCA Lutheran church on 12-7-08) that was a highlight of my stay in Savannah. The convenient location is great, too. I'll be back when I visit Savannah in the future!
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the East Bay Inn. It was centrally located, full of charm and staffed with some of the most wonderful hotel staff I've encountered. Josie, the front desk clerk, was so nice and helpful. We will be back to the East Bay Inn.
